Job summary

Emerus is seeking an Emergency Room Technician for our 11-bed ER in El Paso. The role provides technical support and patient care across shifts, including vital signs, specimen collection, phlebotomy, and wound care, within a team-focused environment.

The position requires BLS and ACLS/ALS where applicable, ER experience, and strong English communication. A sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits accompany this full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS/ALS certification is required in most markets.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience in emergency room settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vital signs and specimens.
• Perform lab testing per policy and CLIA/COLA regulations.
• Assist with patient activities and care as directed by the charge nurse.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge.
