Job summary

Emerus is seeking an ER Technician to provide technical assistance and patient care during the NIGHT shift at a small-format hospital. You will collect data, assist with activities, and support nurses to ensure safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Essential duties include vital signs, specimen collection, lab testing compliance, wound care, and patient safety. Travel to facility locations as needed; meeting attendance and additional duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent training.
• Current BLS certification required.
• EMT-P/EMT-A/LP or nursing student pathway with experience preferred.
• 1+ years ER or hospital tech experience preferred in some markets.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, document data, and collect specimens.
• Collect labs and perform tests per policies and CLIA guidelines.
• Assist patients with activities and care per plan of care.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and proper infection control.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge.
