Job summary

Grandview Medical Center is seeking an ER Technician to support the Emergency Department by providing direct patient care under licensed staff. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, organized ED, stocking supplies, and communicating effectively with the care team.

The position requires completing a Technical School program in Nursing Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomy, or Medical Assistant and may prefer CNA/EMT/Phlebotomy certifications. Prior clinical exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• Technical School completion of Nursing Assistant, EMT, Phlebotomy, or Medical Assistant courses required.
• Certification preferred: CNA, EMT, Phlebotomist, or Medical Assistant.
• 0–1 year of clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care in the ER under licensed staff supervision.
• Support patient transport, safety, and timely discharge procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized ED environment.
• Communicate status changes to care team and document in EMR.
• Adhere to PPE and infection control protocols.
