Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks a dedicated ER Technician to provide essential patient care and assist with clinical tasks across assigned areas in our Las Vegas facilities.

You will collect data, support nursing staff, and help ensure patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, BLS, ACLS/ALS (and EMT-P/AEMT or CNA pathways as outlined), strong English communication, and willingness to travel between facility locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and completion of medical corpsman or EMT/paramedic programs with relevant experience
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required
• Current ACLS/ALS certification required in most markets; exceptions noted for specific markets
• Current PALS certification strongly preferred
• Active paramedic/EMT licenses or related IV/phlebotomy certifications may be required for Las Vegas market
• English fluency required; strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vital signs, height/weight, intake and output, and specimens
• Collect lab samples and perform lab testing per policies and CLIA/ COLA regulations
• Assist with patient activities and care per plan of care; ensure patient safety and privacy
• Provide superficial wound care and aseptic technique; maintain a clean, safe environment
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; travel between facility locations as needed
• Prepare patients and chaperone during examinations and assist with treatments
• Maintain supplies and participate in staff meetings; perform additional duties as assigned
