Job summary

Emerus in Las Vegas is seeking a qualified ER/medical technician to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care across assigned areas. The role includes collecting vitals, assisting with examinations, performing basic lab tasks, and maintaining safety and privacy.

Responsibilities also cover wound care, patient transfers, and collaboration with nursing staff. Requires BLS and EMT/paramedic credentials, with travel to multiple site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related medical training.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS/ALS certification is often required in most markets.
• Las Vegas market requires paramedic license or A-EMT plus related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data and vitals.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policies.
• Assist with patient activities and care as directed by the charge nurse/designee.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and infection control.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties.
