Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, seeks an ER Technician to provide vital clinical support across assigned areas. You will collect data, assist with patient care, and ensure safety protocols. The role requires the ability to travel to all facility locations as needed.

Candidates should have the listed EMS/medical training and ER experience, with current BLS and other certifications as applicable by market. Fluency in English is essential for communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required, with further medical training as listed.
• EMT-P/EMT-A/LP license with at least one year of relevant ER experience, or EMT-B with ER exposure.
• Completion of nursing prereqs or RN/CPRN pathways also acceptable where noted.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document clinical data and vital signs.
• Collect and process specimens for lab testing per policy.
• Assist with patient care, safety and confidentiality.
• Provide superficial wound care and aseptic technique.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge workflows.
• Travel between facility locations as required.
