Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced setting. You will follow physicians' orders, perform admissions and maintain patient privacy while delivering high-quality care in the ER.

Required is an associate degree and RN licensure; 2+ years in ER or similar, with current BLS/ACLS/PALS. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential for this role at our Las Vegas facility.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree, required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years ER or comparable experience, required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; ENPC substitution acceptable; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-specific nursing care with safety for patients and families.
• Complete accurate, concise documentation on medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivery of nursing care.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab tests per policies and COLA/CLIA.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation, aseptic techniques.
• Perform admission, discharge and transfer procedures.
• Participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Assemble equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
