Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Room Technician / ER Tech / Paramedic for a FLOAT position across ED and inpatient units. Night shift (7p-7a) with full-time status and travel to all three locations.

Responsibilities include vital signs, specimen collection, lab testing, patient care, wound care, and ensuring safety and confidentiality. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED with multiple pathways (EMT/Paramedic/ CNA or nursing education), current BLS, ACLS/ALS, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with completion of one qualifying healthcare program.
• BLS certification current; ACLS/ALS certification current in most markets.
• PALS certification strongly preferred; English fluency required.
• Experience in ER settings and patient care activities as listed.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data including vitals and specimens.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policies and COLA/CLIA regs.
• Assist with patient activities and care per the care plan.
• Provide superficial wound care and maintain patient safety.
• Maintain privacy, infection control, and a clean environment.
• Assist with admission, transfer, discharge of patients.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.

Medical Corpsman program + 1 year experience

EMT-P / AEMT / Licensed Paramedic + 1 year experience

3+ years CNA with hospital experience (Wisconsin markets)

3+ years as Certified Anesthesia Tech/OR Tech (Wisconsin markets)

Current BLS certification

Current ACLS/ALS certification

Current PALS certification

PA Act 33/Act 73 clearances (within last 5 years)
