Qualifications

• Education: Associate in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or equivalent. Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing preferred.
• Current California Nursing license.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess and plan care for patients and families.
• Prioritizes and organizes patient care with thorough follow-through.
• Communicates changes in patient condition with physicians and the team (SBAR where applicable).
• Coordinates interdisciplinary discharge planning for the patient population.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment and adheres to regulatory standards.
