Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse to join its Emergency Department team.

The RN will provide evidence-based patient care, work under the Clinical Unit Supervisor, and contribute to the Watson Model of Care, with 12-hour accountability for patient care across a defined group. The role requires active participation in the hospital's mission, core values, and performance improvement initiatives, ensuring readiness for patient care, collaboration with care

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with California license.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience in Emergency Department.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred (not required).
• CPR/BLS and ACLS/PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, patient/family centered care.
• Perform nursing assessments and plan of care.
• Document care using hospital policies and EMR.
• Participate in interdisciplinary discharge planning and care coordination.
• Maintain patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
