Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.

Working under the Clinical Unit Supervisor, you will plan, direct, and coordinate care across a defined patient population using the Watson Model of Care. You will monitor patients, perform nursing assessments, document care, and collaborate with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma; BSN preferred.
• California RN license required.
• Basic EKG competence; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and organize patient care; follow care plan.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physician and team.
• Provide care using the Watson Model of Care.
• Assist with discharge planning and care coordination.
