Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a seasoned Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The Clinical Staff Nurse provides high-quality, family-centered care using the Watson Model of Care and reports to the Clinical Unit Supervisor.

Responsibilities include nursing assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes while adhering to hospital policies and patient safety goals.

Qualifications

• Associate in Nursing or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred.
• California RN license and BLS required; ACLS/PALS optional.
• One year ED nursing experience; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive ED nursing care to patients and families.
• Perform assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Communicate using SBAR during hand-offs and with the care team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.
• Maintain patient safety and regulatory standards on unit.
