Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department.

The Clinical Staff Nurse will be accountable for organizing, planning, directing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality, individualized patient- and family-centered care, following the Watson Model of Care. The nurse will report to the Clinical Unit Supervisor and participate in discharge planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or nursing diploma or equivalent.
• BSN preferred for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.
• Utilize the Watson Model of Care during patient care.
• Communicate using SBAR during hand-offs and follow hospital policies.
• Support quality improvement and performance improvement activities.
