Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room on a PRN basis during the night shift (7pm-7am) at a 16-bed small-format hospital in Plano, TX.

The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care within the ER. The ideal candidate has an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred), current RN licensure, and 2+ years of ER experience, along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN ER experience or comparable.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; ENPC can substitute for PALS; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-appropriate and specialty nursing care.
• Document accurately and legibly in medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and procedures.
