Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or equivalent RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency for clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Observe, record signs, symptoms, and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Contribute to assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
