Job summary

Saint Clare's Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift. Full-time position delivering direct patient care using the nursing process, with collaboration across medical teams to ensure high-quality care.

Responsibilities include rapid patient assessment, patient/family teaching, and working under EMTALA rules while protecting patient privacy in a high-acuity ED setting. Saint Clare's Health is part of Prime Healthcare, serving Morris, Warren and Sussex

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC required within hire period.
• Minimum 1 year ER staff nurse experience in an acute care hospital; ED experience preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct patient and family teaching and guide other nursing staff while maintaining professional standards.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Ensure EMTALA compliance and protect patient privacy.
