• The RN coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and care team.
• Uses established nursing models to assess, perform, teach, and manage patient care.
• Advocates for patients and families, aligning with the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassessments after intervention.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider and documents care.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs to resolve them proactively.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about medical condition, treatment plan, medications, and side effects; translates complex medical terms for understanding.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures including diet, exercise, disease prevention, and self-management.
