The role requires holding an RN license, an Associate Degree, and certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and BCLS, with specific timeframes after start date.

Qualifications

• RN license required and per state standards.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• ACLS, PALS, and Trauma Nursing Core Course certifications.
• BCLS required or instructor certification within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or equivalent within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ER.
• Document care in the patient medical record promptly and accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
