Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of the department leadership. The RN will collaborate with physicians and care teams to provide timely assessments, interventions, and education to patients and families.

Responsibilities include pain management, documentation, and patient advocacy while following established nursing models and compliance with state standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Texas or equivalent.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC certifications obtained within specified timeframes.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and manage accordingly.
• Document care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Provide timely interventions and teaching to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to meet patient needs.

Skills

RN license

ER experience

ACLS within 90 days

BLS within 30 days

PALS within 90 days

TNCC within 1 year
