Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in a 20-bed small-format hospital setting.

You will provide age-appropriate nursing care, document thoroughly, monitor patients, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, effective treatments. A strong commitment to patient privacy and infection control is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license in good standing.
• 2+ years ER or related experience.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; ENPC may substitute for PALS; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Document accurately on medical records.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status.
• Collaborate with physicians to revise interventions and outcomes.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow physician orders in delivering care.
• Collect and process lab samples per policies and regulations.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Prepare equipment for procedures and assist staff as needed.
