Job summary

Emerus is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for night shifts in a small-format hospital setting. You will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER, ensuring safety and comfort for patients and families.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, following orders, infection control, lab collection, and patient transitions, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. A dynamic team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or nursing diploma, required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years full-time RN ER or comparable experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS/ALS, and PALS certifications; ENPC may substitute for PALS; TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English; strong written and verbal communication.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances or eligibility (PA) completed when required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER.
• Provide age-specific, developmentally appropriate nursing care.
• Complete accurate and legible medical documentation.
• Follow physician orders and infection-control procedures.
• Collect labs and perform testing per policy and regulations.
• Prepare and transfer patients; participate in care planning and collaboration.
