Job summary

Emerus is seeking a RN for PRN night coverage in our Emergency Department. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced ER setting with emphasis on patient safety and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years ER nursing experience, active PA RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. A BSN is preferred. This position involves working night shifts in a small-format hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current valid RN license in Pennsylvania.
• 2+ years RN experience in ER or similar setting required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER.
• Complete accurate and legible medical records documentation.
• Monitor and document patient signs, symptoms and status.
• Follow physician orders and infection control procedures.
• Manage admissions, discharges and transfers as needed.
