Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, is seeking an ER Nurse to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room. This PRN/Day Shift role requires strong clinical nursing knowledge and commitment to compassionate care.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, patient safety, preparing supplies, following physician orders, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Requires RN licensure, 2+ years ER experience and BLS/ACLS/PALS; English fluency essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions.
• Minimum 2+ years ER or equivalently related experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER.
• Document accurately and concisely in medical records.
• Follow physician orders and infection control procedures.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
