Shift options include day, night, and mid shifts; employment types include full-time, part-time, and per diem. Required ADN or higher nursing degree with active RN license; ER experience preferred and ACLS/PALS certifications favored.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license required.
• 1+ year ER experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat patients with trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
• Quickly assess patient needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor patient health, administer medications and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans and determine discharge or admission.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
