Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED to provide professional nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department.

The RN will coordinate care planning with other disciplines, supervise team members as needed, assess patients on admission and ongoing basis, implement orders, and ensure patient safety and quality care in alignment with facility standards.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program.
• L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.
• Level II EQ: two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator.
• Arizona RN license; CPR; ACLS as applicable by facility/department.
• ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, L&D: ACLS required upon orientation completion.
• ER: PALS or ENPC required or must obtain within ninety days.
• Post-partum, Nursery, L&D: NRP required upon orientation completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• May supervise and direct other healthcare staff.
• Assess patient needs on admission and ongoing basis.
• Implement nursing and medical orders appropriate to patient status.
• Contribute to safe work environment and patient safety.
