Job summary

Mercy Health in Fairfield is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting. The role emphasizes assessment, prioritization, and development of care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing degree (AAS or BSN), current RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification (ACLS/PALS within 6 months). One year of RN experience, with ED/CC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AAS or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the state; BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred or required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Assess patient status, determine priorities, and update care plans.
• Deliver nursing interventions in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Administer medications safely and provide patient and family education.
• Support care coordination across hospital departments.
