Job summary

Mercy Health’s Springfield Regional Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. You will deliver high-quality patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in developing and updating patient care plans to ensure safe, effective care across diverse patient needs.

The role requires ADN/BSN, active RN licensure, BLS (ACLS/PALS preferred), and 1 year ED/critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• 1 year RN experience; ED or critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced ED setting.
• Evaluate, update, and revise the plan of care.
• Administer medications safely and per policy.
• Serve as point of contact for care coordination within the hospital.
