Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This full-time position features three 12-hour shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

The RN will collaborate in patient-centered care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, delivering care with teamwork and adherence to organizational policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs, 2 years of experience are required.
• New graduate nurses with less than one year of experience participate in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care with patient safety and promotes evidence-based practice.
• Assesses and evaluates care for an assigned group of patients and develops a care plan.
• Communicates pertinent information to the team in a timely manner.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Assumes responsibility for care documented by other licensed/unlicensed caregivers.
