Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s. The role includes two 12-hour evening shifts per week from 10am to 10:30pm, with every third weekend and rotating holidays. Experience required.

You will deliver patient-centered care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborate with the care team, and support safety, education, and documentation in a Magnet-recognized environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing school.
• Current Ohio RN license is required.
• Casual RNs require 2 years of experience.
• New graduates may enter Nurse Residency if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care with patient safety and quality initiatives.
• Assesses and plans care with patients and families.
• Communicates information to the care team in a timely manner.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes per guidelines.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided by others when appropriate.
