Emerus is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for the day shift to assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER. The role calls for delivering age-specific nursing care with attention to safety and comfort, while documenting thoroughly.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, 2+ years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS; ENPC/TNCC combinations may be required. The position emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Active state RN license without sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or equivalent full-time RN experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS/ALS, and PALS certifications; ENPC substitution allowed; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-specific nursing care with clinical knowledge.
• Complete accurate, concise documentation in medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering care.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform testing per policies and CLIA/COLA rules.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
