Job summary

Emerus is seeking an ER nurse to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room. You will prioritize and provide age-appropriate nursing services while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include consistent medical-record documentation, observation of vital signs, following physicians’ orders, ensuring privacy, and maintaining infection control standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license with no sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or related experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in written and spoken form.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-specific nursing care with advanced clinical knowledge.
• Complete accurate, concise documentation of medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and physiological status of patients.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques in patient care.
