Job summary

Emerus is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room to provide age-specific and specialty nursing care in a fast-paced setting. You will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to infection control standards.

Responsibilities include following physicians' orders, collecting specimens, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver safe, compassionate care in a 16-bed small-format hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required, BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in United States, without sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or acute care nursing experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency for communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER.
• Document accurately in medical records.
• Monitor and record patient signs and symptoms.
• Follow physician orders and treatment plans.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
