Job summary

Universal Health Services' North Valleys ER, an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, is hiring an experienced ER Registered Nurse. The 24/7 ED serves all ages with fast-track rooms, advanced imaging, and in-house lab services, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The role requires NV RN license and 2–3 years in emergency care or critical care, with BLS/ACLS/PALS. The position is full-time (36 hours per week) with a comprehensive benefits package and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for

Qualifications

• Current NV RN License
• Two to three years in the emergency department or critical care
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications or eligibility
• EMS background is a plus and ED triage experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ED and adjust care plans as needed
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and re-assess per policy
• Utilize triage processes to prioritize care and patient flow
• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret diagnostic results
• Educate patients and families on pain and post-care instructions
