Job summary

Northern Nevada Health System is seeking an experienced Emergency Department REGISTERED NURSE for the North Valleys ED extension. The role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus, full benefits, and a flexible night-shift schedule.

Will provide professional nursing care, coordinate with the ED team, and manage triage and patient flow in a busy 24/7 environment. Responsibilities include direct patient care, head-to-toe assessments, accurate triage, and monitoring hemodynamics.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced ED settings.
• EMS/trauma exposure preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications current or within required window.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and ongoing reassessments.
• Triage patients to ensure timely care and prioritize needs.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret findings.
