Snoqualmie Valley Health in Snoqualmie, WA, seeks an ER Registration HUC to create the first impression of our hospital services for patients and families. This role ensures accurate demographic and financial data collection for registration and supports charity and billing disclosures.

The position emphasizes integrity, patient advocacy, and a commitment to safety, while coordinating transfers and assisting with payments. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Current CPR certificate; CNA preferred.
• AA degree preferred; typing speed ~35 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all patients and visitors in a warm, professional manner.
• Enter complete demographic and financial information into the EMR during registration.
• Provide Medicare/Medicaid disclosures, MSP verification and privacy information; obtain signatures.
• Assist with patient safety and advocate for needs (transport, interpreter, wheelchair).
• Collect patient payments (copays, coinsurance, deductibles) as applicable.
• Verify health insurance eligibility.
• Coordinate patient transfers to other facilities.
• Answer main hospital phone line and route to appropriate department.
• Perform general copying and duplicating duties.
