This full-time, on-site role offers four 10-hour shifts, 4PM–2:30AM, focusing on compassionate service, confidentiality, and policy compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Post-secondary education or training in medical/healthcare administration preferred.
• 0-2 years experience in healthcare including patient registration or front desk required.
• 0-2 years experience in customer service preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and families professionally to create a positive first impression.
• Register patients for emergency services with accurate personal, insurance, and medical info.
• Verify patient ID and insurance details and update records as needed.
• Obtain signatures on consent forms and explain each consent.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for billing.
• Collect co-pays or deductibles and inform patients of financial obligations.
• Assist with understanding insurance requirements and questions.
• Document when patient cannot sign consent and nursing signs off.
• Identify proper insurance plan codes to ensure payment.
• Compile paperwork for quick retrieval and processing of patient visits.
• Place armband on each patient for proper identification.
• Notify department or physicians of patient arrival and manage waits.
• Maintain communication during emergencies and follow plans.
• Perform other duties and maintain attendance.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
