Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Chief Nursing Officer in leading the patient care team, ensuring safety, recovery and comfort of patients while implementing the nursing process and education plan.

Responsibilities include teaching, quality improvement collaboration, and ensuring compliance with CMS, Title 22, CDPH, and other standards. It is a full-time on-site role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• RN program completion required.
• BSN preferred or obtained within 5 years of hire.
• Active BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS, NIHSS, AB508, ENPC, NRP may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Assist charge nurse with planning delivery of patient care for the shift.
• Precept and validate competency of new hires and procedures.
• Teach nursing students.
• Coordinate assigned team and communicate interventions and expectations.
• Support quality improvement and unit service growth.
