Keck Medicine of USC is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Chief Nursing Officer in leading the patient care team, ensuring safe, effective care and patient comfort. The role involves implementing the nursing process, educating patients and staff, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include planning, precepting, staff coordination and interdisciplinary communication.

Competenze

• Graduation from Registered Nurse Program.
• BSN preferred (if not upon hire, will obtain within 5 years).
• 1 year clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Certification in clinical specialty or management desired.

Mansioni

• Assist charge nurse with planning delivery of patient care for the shift.
• Precepting and competency validating new hires and to new procedures; teaching nursing students.
• Delegating to other RNs, LVNs, CNAs.
• Coordinating assigned team and communicating expectations to staff.
• Provide patient education and advocate for safe care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality improvement initiatives.
