Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC Verdugo Hills Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to support the Chief Nursing Officer in leading the patient care team and ensuring safety, recovery and comfort for patients. You will apply the nursing process, provide education, and advocate for patients while complying with CMS, Title 22 and local regulations.

Qualifications

California RN license is required.
Certification in clinical specialty or management desired.
Surgery: BLS, ACLS; PACU/SDS/GI Lab: BLS, ACLS, PALS; Cath Lab: BLS, ACLS; ED: BLS, ACLS, PALS, AB508, NIHSS, NRP, ENPC.
All certifications must be active on hire/transfer unless indicated.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP must be AHA certified.

Responsibilities

Support Chief Nursing Officer in leading the patient care team.
Implement the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, plan, interventions, evaluation.
Provide education and advocacy; ensure safety, recovery and comfort of patients.
Collaborate with department managers, directors and other departments; participate in quality improvement.
