Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Emergency Room nurse at the Converse facility to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in a high-volume ED.

Responsibilities include age-appropriate nursing, accurate documentation, infection control, following physicians’ orders, and collaborating with the care team to ensure patient safety and privacy.

Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree, active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS certification; English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or comparable RN experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• PA-specific clearances may be required for PA locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide age-specific, developmentally appropriate nursing care.
• Complete accurate, concise documentation in medical records.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and deliver nursing care accordingly.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Prepare equipment for diagnostic or treatment procedures.
