Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room. Responsibilities include prioritizing nursing care, documenting records, and following physician orders in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2+ years of ER experience, an Associate's degree (BSN preferred), and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. English fluency and PA Act 33/73 clearances considerations apply where needed.

Qualifications

• RN with ER experience; 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or comparable setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• English fluency for written and oral communication.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances (PA) completed within last 5 years or before start date.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-specific nursing care applying advanced clinical knowledge.
• Document medical records accurately, concisely, and legibly.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms, and patient status.
• Follow physician's orders in delivering nursing care.
• Adhere to infection control, isolation procedures, and aseptic techniques.
• Perform admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Assemble equipment and supplies for procedures; ensure compliance with policies and standards.
