Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team, delivering age-appropriate care and collaborating with physicians to assess, plan and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced ER.

Responsibilities include documentation of medical records, following orders, collecting lab samples, infection control, and assisting with admissions, discharges and transfers. Required: RN license, 2+ years ER experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS, English fluency; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license with no sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or equivalent experience.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Fluent English for written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-specific nursing care in the ER.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and infection control procedures.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers; ensure patient privacy.
