Job summary

Emerus is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The RN will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care, while collaborating with physicians and support staff in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, at least 2+ years of ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. BSN is preferred, and English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions.
• 2+ years full-time RN ER experience or equivalent.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency; good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide proficient, age-specific nursing care for patients in the ER.
• Document medical records accurately, concisely, and legibly.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms, and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering nursing care.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per policy and CLIA.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Handle admissions, discharges, and transfers; assist procedures.
