Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality emergency care in our ER. The role requires strong clinical nursing knowledge, precise documentation, and the ability to monitor and respond to acute patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold a valid RN license, 2+ years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. BSN is preferred, and the position emphasizes patient privacy, teamwork, and adherence to protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions, required.
• 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or similar setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific and developmentally appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Document medical records clearly and concisely.
• Monitor signs, symptoms, and physiological status of patients.
• Adhere to physician orders in delivering care.
• Perform admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Prepare equipment for procedures and assist as needed.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Follow infection control and aseptic techniques.
