Job summary

Emerus is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room to assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care. You will work in a fast-paced environment providing age-specific nursing care and collaborating with physicians and support staff.

The role requires active Pennsylvania RN licensure, 2+ years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS; BSN preferred. You will document care, ensure privacy, follow orders, and participate in transfers and admissions.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 2 years RN ER or equivalent full-time experience.
• Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific nursing care in the Emergency Room.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status; observe changes.
• Follow physician orders and assist with interventions.
• Collect labs and perform tests per policies and CLIA.
• Maintain patient privacy and infection control.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare equipment for procedures and assist with treatments.
• Participate in assessment, planning and evaluation of care.
• Adhere to hospital and state nursing standards.
