Job summary

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, document thoroughly in the EMR, and participate in daily care rounds with the multidisciplinary team. This full-time evening position emphasizes compassionate, family-centered care and adherence to hospital policies and quality

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in Florida or eNLC.
• Active BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required within 2 years of hire.
• CPI certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Level II background check and good moral character.

Responsibilities

• Performs multi-system nursing assessments (head to toe) and manages care plans.
• Discharges planning and patient education consistent with policies.
• Communicates patient progress with physicians and care teams.
• Documents plan of care and ensures safe, efficient care delivery.
• Administers medications following six rights and hospital policies.
• Collaborates in daily care planning rounds and embraces family-centered care.
• Maintains accurate EMR documentation and shift handoffs.
