Job summary

Nutex Health, Inc. is seeking a Patient Services Representative to support the Fort Smith ER on a part-time basis.

The PSR ensures smooth check-in/out, collects demographics, and directs patients to the appropriate services while upholding confidentiality and safety. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least two years of PSR experience in hospital/ER settings, and familiarity with medical registration, scheduling, and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PSR in a Hospital, ER, or Clinic
• Experience with medical registration, admitting, and ER scheduling preferred

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations: greet patients, collect demographics, direct to services; ensure signatures for billing; maintain logs and phone inquiries.
• Financial responsibilities: collect co-pays, reconcile patient accounts.
• Facility cleanliness: maintain clean and welcoming environment.
• Communication: interact with patients, families, physicians, and staff while upholding center values.
• Professional development: attend monthly staff meetings and participate in improvement activities.
• Other duties: assist management with tasks as assigned.
