Job summary

Nutex Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative (PRN) to support the Emergency Center at our Little Rock facility. You will greet patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, and ensure accurate billing signatures while upholding patient confidentiality and safety.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and teamwork. You will handle front desk operations, manage phone inquiries, assist with scheduling and admissions in an ER setting, and participate in monthly staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years as a PSR in a hospital, ER, or clinic.
• Experience in medical registration, admitting, and ER scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests with a cheerful demeanor and direct them to services.
• Collect demographics and ensure signatures for billing accuracy.
• Maintain logs of patient information and answer phone inquiries professionally.
• Collect co-pays and reconcile daily patient accounts.
• Assist with keeping the facility clean and welcoming.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in performance improvement activities.
