Nutex Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative (PRN) to support the Emergency Center at our Little Rock facility. You will greet patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, and ensure accurate billing signatures while upholding patient confidentiality and safety.

Patient Access Representative (PRN) The Patient Services Representative (PSR) plays a crucial role in the emergency center's operational efficiency by ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process for patients. The role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety. This position is integral to fostering a supportive and efficient environment in the Emergency Center, ensuring patients receive the care they need while upholding the standards of the healthcare facility.
Qualifications required High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Patient Services Representative (PSR) role within a Hospital, ER, or Clinic Previous experience in medical registration, admitting, and scheduling in an ER setting is preferred
Constant: Vision (various forms), Hearing, Speaking, Manual dexterity, Mobility Frequent: Bending, Squatting, Twisting, Lifting to 20 lbs. unaided, 50 lbs. with assistance Occasional: Climbing, Kneeling, Distinguishing colors Rarely: Exposure to electric shock and confined spaces
Work Environment: OSHA Category I: Routine exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or other potentially infectious materials
