Job summary

Nutex Health Tucson ER is seeking a Patient Services Representative for night shifts (PRN) with part-time hours. The PSR will support front desk operations, patient check-in/check-out, and financial processing in a busy emergency center.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of PSR experience in an ER setting; experience with medical registration and scheduling is preferred. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of PSR experience in a Hospital/ER/Clinic.
• Experience in medical registration, admitting, and scheduling in an ER setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front desk operations: greet patients, collect info, direct services.
• Manage payments for co-pays and account balances with daily reconciliation.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment and manage supplies.
• Communicate courteously with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Assist management with additional tasks or projects as assigned.
